Health Walk Program

On 13 December, 2023 the Mongar Dzongkhag Administration organized a "Health Walk" as part of series of programs geared towards celebrating the 116th National Day. The event commenced early morning by dropping the participants to Phijurlaptsa - the highest road point towards Drepong - about 10 kms from Mongar town. After Riwo-Sangchoe, the participants traversed the new Phijurlaptsa-Shamey Lhakhsng-Jelphug eco-trail and back to Mongar town later in the afternoon.
