18-24th November of every year is observed as an Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Week. AMR is a serious issue globally. There is every chance that we may plunge into pre-antibiotic era killing millions.
Time is really running out fast if we don’t start to act now. With this week lets all pledge that starting from tomorrow we will all not use any antibiotic without doctor’s prescription and not stop taking it unless advised by a doctor or a registered prescriber or health worker once being prescribed. Lets also as well say no to fodder and feeds treated with antibiotics. Please help spread this message to save lives and our planet from the menace of antibiotic resistance.
