The Honorable Opposition Leader, Dasho Pema Chewang, met with the administrative heads, HODs, and In-Charges of ERRH yesterday evening. He was accompanied by the MP of Mongar and the Drametse-Ngatshang constituency, along with Dasho Dzongda. During the visit, the Opposition Leader highlighted the roles and responsibilities of the opposition in parliament and the key activities carried out thus far.

Honorable Dasho emphasized that health, education, and business are the three priorities for his current visit due to their importance. He expressed a sincere desire to understand the pertinent issues faced by health centers and how the opposition can collaborate with the government in addressing these challenges. During an interaction with the staff, various problems were raised, including human resource limitations, IWP forced ranking, annual leave, waste management and budget constraits. The honorable MPs also shared issues raised by their constituents during their constituency visits and discussed how ERRH, as a nodal center, and the Dzongkhag could address these concerns.

Honorable Dasho presented a dozen flasks as a token of appreciation to the staff for our service to the people.
