Today, 39 second-year, first-semester nursing students from Arura Academy of Health Sciences began their clinical postings at ERRH.
Today, 39 second-year, first-semester nursing students from Arura Academy of Health Sciences began their clinical postings at ERRH. They will be assigned to various departments according to their curriculum and will receive mentorship from specialists, doctors, ward in-charges, nurses and relevant paramedics.
An orientation session was held to brief the students on hospital rules and regulations, led by the Medical Superintendent, who emphasized adherence to hospital protocols, the four principles of medical ethics, and self-discipline. Additionally, the Nursing Superintendent, Administrative Officer, Quality Assurance Focal, and Nursing In-Charges outlined the students’ responsibilities, goals, and expectations.
The students will continue their clinical postings until September 26. Meanwhile, the clinical supervisors thanked ERRH for rendering necessary support thus far as teaching hospital.
